Good Eye

While in general I am ambivalent about the policy of extrajudicial killings, I am a rather solid supporter of targeting military personnel in times of war, whenever the opportunity avails itself–meaning, whenever the execution can be carried out with minimal damage to the surroundings of the enemy fighter. Taking out a fighter, I believe, is a moral act–insofar as war is moral, which it isn’t, unless it is defensive.
The war Israel is fighting against the Hamas is certainly defensive. And that’s why the person who carried out this operation should be awarded a medal. One kill, no “collateral damage.” The way war should be fought. Good shot.
