Oxfam Apologizes, But Enough?

Oxfam has removed the link to the controversial Belgian Ad, saying that it had no intention of giving the impression that Jewish goods are bad–just that it will not purchase goods from the Disputed Territories.
As I’ve written before, Me and myself, I’m all for leaving the West Bank and the Gaza Strip if such a move would set the stage for peace, but to simplify the conflict into a settlers/innocent Palestinians issue, whereby boycotting the settlers somehow will help the cause is simply wrong-headed. Does Oxfam check Palestinian products to see if their proceeds have helped Hamas blow up buses?
On the other hand, at least Oxfam apologized for the broader implications. Now all we need is the New York Times to admit it’s failures.
